Financial Sales Representative

This is a Direct Hire position working for our client who is a privately held financial services company.

The candidate must possess the following:

  • Strong knowledge of industry financial products and sales tactics
  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field

Position Description:
This position reports to the President. Responsible for originating financing programs and underlying end-user financing opportunities; direct end-user financing transactions; and transactions originated through independent third parties.


Responsibilities:
Specific duties and responsibilities of the position include the following:
• Understanding and adhering to the various corporate policies, practices, guidelines, philosophies, and concerns of United Financial, including investor qualifications, documentation requirements, and pricing considerations, in order to ensure compliance with corporate goals and objectives.
• Contacting prospective customers, developing Contractor/Vendor programs and relationships, and pursuing financing commitments (commitment letters).
• Understanding individual Contractor/Vendor relationships in order to convey to corporate staff and prospective investors specific transaction/program related issues.
• Conferring with and reporting to President and other appropriate staff to confirm that individual Contractor/Vendor program and transaction submissions comply with United Financial and investor objectives and requirements, including pricing, structural, and solicitation guidelines; and the submission of written reports detailing solicitation efforts and customer responses.
• Contacting prospective customers, developing Contractor/Vendor programs and relationships, and pursuing financing commitments (commitment letters).


Qualifications:
The candidate must possess the following:
• Strong knowledge of industry financial products and sales tactics
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Financial pricing skills, including present value analysis and use
• BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• Advanced presentation and selling skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
